Cup Markings
Introduction

The Cashier or Floater will need to mark each drink ordered before handing the cup off to the barista.  Proficiency in these markings will improve accuracy and timing.

Order of Markings

1.  Total Number of Espresso Shots (if different from recipe)

2. Decaf (if Decaf)

3. Milk Type (If different from the default)

4. Flavor Syrup (If not included in recipe)

5. Drink Name

6. Any special Request

Example

In this example, let's write markings for a medium decaf vanilla soy latte.  The guest has requested an extra shot of espresso and that the drink be extra hot.

3 - 3 shots of Espresso

D - Indicating Decaf

Soy - Soy Milk instead of regular

V - Vanilla Syrup

XHOT - Special Request for extra hot temperature

L - Drink Name (Latte)

Once the cup is marked, hand it off to the barista or place in queue.
